Dr Abdulkareem Lawal is social scientist and monitoring and evaluation expert with over thirty years' experience in international development and more than 20 years working in Monitoring and Evaluation. Abdulkareem started his career as a research scientist and has built up a significant portfolio as an evaluation specialist; and helps international development organisations, governments, civil society, and communities, to assess the impact of their work, and to learn and improve their performance. He brings wide-ranging expertise in policy and strategy analysis and advice; governance and institutional assessments; all types of evaluations; as well as results and performance assessments. A FCDO-accredited evaluation specialist, Abdulkareem is an experienced team leader and project director of high-profile, with extensive expertise in evaluation design and implementation, including quality assurance. This includes responsibility for client and partner relations, as well as technical support on mixed-method designs, and participatory methodologies that involves and capture the perspectives of primary stakeholders.
